Kraljevski vinogradi / Royal Vineyards near Zadar producing some of the best Croatian wines

Top quality grapes from the stone vineyards and excellent taste of wines are the results of a special microclimate, its position by the sea and a full day of direct sun exposure, on average 2600 hours per year. This microclimate allows high-quality grape-growing that is extract and healthy for the production of white and red varieties. Bura acts as a fan that ventilates the grapes in the bedrock base, and at night cold air from Velebit, which descends towards the sea gives pleasure to create the most powerful extract. The director of the Royal Vineyards (Kraljevski vinogradi) is Zoran Pantalon.

In 1963, Malka Marom and Joso Špralja formed the singing duo Malka & Joso. For the next four and half years, they sang folk songs of many lands in fourteen languages - well above ground: in Yorkville’s coffee houses, college campuses, supper clubs, radio and TV and Capitol recordings. In their repertoire they had Israeli and and Croatian songs as well. Malka & Joso have recorded four albums. Malka & Joso Forever, a CD retrospective of their songs was released by EMI in 2001 to rave reviews.

Hello! Morning (ハロー! モーニング。, harō mōningu?) was a weekly Japanese TV show featuring members of Morning Musume, and sometimes other Hello! Project members on TV Tokyo. In this episode they introduced Croatia as an opponent of Japan during the Football World Cup 2006 in Germany and showed some cultural things and made a quiz afterwards. Really funny, especially from Croatian point of view. ;-)

Pino Kuhar Croatian cook unique in the world

"Kuhar" in Croatian means "cook". So, Mr. Pino Kuhar from Croatia is Pino the Cook. But Kuhar is his true last name, not the nickname. Now, as a surprise, he was born in the village of Kuhari, that is, in the village of The Cooks! Employed as a professional chef, a few years ago he was proclaimed as the best Croatian chef - Hrvatski kuhar. So, Mr. Pino The Cook is distinguished chef born in the village of The Cooks in Croatia.
